Tree Swallows

Tree Swallows are Common in Western Washington mainly from Later February-August,September time. They spent most time in the air eating flying insects such has Mayflies, Sandflies, Smallflies, Fleas, Mosquitoes, Honey Bees, Crane Flies, Midges, Water Beetles, Lady Bugs during cold periods in early Spring may eat Bayberries.
Habitat
 Is usually near water, marshes, lakes, ponds, rivers, sloughs, bogs, beaver ponds and fields near dead trees and or nest boxes.

Behavior

This social bird is often found in flocks. Tree Swallows are highly acrobatic and forage mostly in flight, often swooping low over open water or fields, sometimes skimming food items from the water's surface.
